Enrico Deidda Gagliardo

Enrico DEIDDA GAGLIARDO is a Full Professor of Business Economics and Vice-Rector for Planning, Budgeting and Public Value at the University of Ferrara.
Since 1999, his academic research and publications have focused primarily on issues relating to Public Value. He is the founder and Scientific Director of the Research Centre on Public Value, as well as Deputy Director of the Doctorate of National Interest in Public Administration and coordinator of the curriculum on Public Value. He is the author of numerous national and international academic publications on the themes of Public Value and integrated planning and measurement. He is the creator of the ā€˜Public Value Observatories’ and the ā€˜PIAO Quality Observatories’.
From an educational perspective, he teaches Performance, Anti-Corruption and Public Value, and Public Administration Economics, and is Scientific Director of the inter-university Master’s programme in Public Management and Innovation and of the PERFET university Master’s programme on performance improvement for the creation of Public Value.
From an institutional perspective, he collaborates or has collaborated with the Department of Public Administration, the Department for Youth Policies, the SNA, FORMEZ, ANAC, MUR, MLPS and CNEL. In particular, he is one of the creators of the PIAO and a co-author of the Guidelines and Operational Manuals on the PIAO, in his capacity as a member of the DFP’s National Observatory on Public Employment.
