Massimo Sargiacomo is Full Professor of Business Economics, and Coordinator, from the XXXII Cycle, of the Doctorate in “Accounting, Management and Business Economics”, at the Department of Business Economics of the University G.d’Annunzio of Chieti-Pescara. Sargiacomo is a member of the editorial boards of the following Band A Journals of the journal ranking Anvur: (Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Accounting History Review, Accounting History); and he is also Co-Director of the following Band A Journals of the rating of Accademia Italiana di Economia Aziendale (RIREA, MECOSAN).
Massimo is the author of numerous publications, nationally and internationally, and his research topics in the last ten years have focused mainly on the accounting and economics of Natural Disasters, on Corruption and Fraud in the Public Administration, and on the History of Accounting and Business Profession.
