Claudia Salvatore

Claudia Salvatore is Full Professor of Business Economics at the “Federico II” University of Naples, Italy. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the University of London (UK) and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. She is President of the degree course in Business Economics, University of Molise.
She is a member of the European Accounting Association (EAA), the Italian Business Administration Academy (AIDEA) and the Italian Society of Accounting and Business Economics Professors (SIDREA). She has significant experience in teaching and research in the field of Management and Accounting of Private and Public Organizations. Her main research interests are: public sector accounting and accountability (particularly universities and health care organizations), Accounting Principles, Accrual Accounting in Public Entities, Performance Reporting and Corporate Disclosure, Financial and Management Accounting. Her current focus is on new challenges in sustainability reporting in public entities.
She has authored numerous research chapters, textbooks and articles in the aforementioned fields.
